Cross-border filing

File in any country, from any country

Someone in India can register a brand in the United States. Someone in the United States can register in Australia. You do not need a local company, a local address or a local lawyer of your own — Ascen Mark is a single portal that routes each filing to a licensed agent in the destination country.

1 · Pick the markets, not the paperwork

Select every country you sell into. We map each one to the right route — a national filing, an EU-wide EUTM, or a Madrid Protocol designation off your home application.

2 · One specification, translated everywhere

You describe the business once. We align the goods and services to each office's accepted wording so the same brand is protected consistently across borders.

3 · Local representation handled for you

Most offices require a locally licensed agent for foreign applicants. Work is allocated automatically to a vetted agent in that jurisdiction — you never have to find one.

4 · One dashboard until registration

Status syncs from the registry, deadlines are docketed, office actions land in one inbox and renewals are scheduled — in every country at once.

National filings vs the Madrid Protocol

A national filing goes straight to the destination office and is examined on its own merits — fastest and cleanest when you want two or three countries. The Madrid Protocol lets you extend one home application to many members at once, which is cheaper past roughly four countries but stays tied to the home mark for five years. We recommend the route per country inside the application flow.

What we need from you

  • Legal name, entity type and address of the owner, exactly as registered.
  • The mark itself — word, logo file, or both filed separately.
  • A plain description of the goods or services you actually sell.
  • Signed power of attorney or affidavits where the destination office requires it.
